Summary: Poor Jack wants to bring the Princess a present for her birthday party. Unable to purchase one, he trades or hunts for the ingredients to make a perfect birthday cake with a succulent strawberry on top. On the journey to the castle, Jack faces many trials that eventually leave him with no cake, but he is still able to give a wonderful present - the story of his adventure getting to the party.
