Summary:

Pearl the pig finds a magical bone that can talk in any language and imitate any sound. As she is taking it home she is attacked by robbers, who run when scared by the bone. But a wily fox isn't scared and takes them back to his house. It takes some quick wit for the bone to help save Pearl, then the two return safely to her home.
