Summary:

Straightforward text explains how babies are born. It leaves out the mechanics, but explains the development from joining of sperm and egg to birth.

Use in Classroom/Library:

Because of the subject matter of the book, this is not one that I would use in a class environment. It could be available for classroom teacher use (see Curriculum Connections)

Special Features:

Illustrated mostly with photos, including some enlarged images of a developing baby. Includes drawings of cell division and a few other things that are difficult to photograph well. Iintroduction for parents gives advice about how to handle questions from children.
