Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne CollinsMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
In a twist on the questing tale, Gregor and his toddler sister fall through the air duct in his NYC apartment laundry room and land in a cavernous Underland deep inside the earth. Gregor meets gigantic talking roaches, rats, spiders and bats, as well as a group of humans who have carved a glittering city out of the stone. He also learns that he is the subject of a prophecy from long ago.
I enjoyed this tale, I liked Gregor a lot, especially how much he cared for his sister, and how important his entire family was to him. I will definitely read the next in the series. Would recommend for 4th+
